中午12时，澎湃新闻记者到达静安寺广场，发现排队已截止，警方将进入下沉式广场的通道暂时封闭。除了大量排到队的消费者在下沉式广场内等待，也有一部分排到了广场地面层。
为维持秩序，现场安保人员拉起护栏并立上了“排队截止”的标志牌，数十名保安提醒新涌入的人群“不能再排队了”。现场有保安人员向记者表示：“进去的人都是排得早，有人昨天晚上就开始排了，也有人早上六七点就来。”
护栏内，数百名成功排到入场资格的消费者中，中老年人群约占半数，有不少人席地而坐或躺卧在携带的凉席上。（澎湃新闻记者 鞠文韬）
